Istanbul city is the ancient city of the word. Istanbul is the largest city in turkey  and is among the 15 largest urban areas  in the world. Istanbul extends into both Europe and Asia. The city of Istanbul is very important geographically because it has a long history that extents the rise and fall of the world's most famous empires. Due to its participation in these empires, Istanbul has also experienced various names. Roman Empire Byzantium became a part of the Roman empire in 300s . During this time, the Roman emperor, Constantine the Great, undertook the rebuilding of the entire city. His goal was to make it stand out and give the city monuments similar to those found in Rome. In 330, Constantine declared the city as the capital of the entire Roman Empire and renamed it Constantinople (In Arabic Known as Qustantiniyya ). TARIQ IBN ZIYAD ( The Great Warior)

Tariq Ibn Ziyad was a great Muslim general born in 670 AD and died in 720 in Damascus. Tariq led the Islamic conquest of Hispania in 711 A.D. He is considered to be one of the most important military commanders in Muslim history. Under the orders of the Umayyad Khalifha Al-Walid he led a large army from the north coast of Morocco, joining his troops at a large hill now known as Gibraltar. The name “Gibraltar” is the Spanish derivation of the Arabic name Jabal al Tariq meaning “mountain of Tariq”, named after him. Most historians give little or no information about Tariq’s origins or nationality. Even there are several different notions’ but most of historian and modern workers accept a Berber origin. The Ancient Gandhara Civilization

Gandhara is the name of an ancient kingdom (Mahajanapada), located in modern day northern Pakistan and parts of eastern Afghanistan. The center of this Civilization is stretched from Kashmir to various areas of Texila. Its main cities were Purushapura (modern Peshawar and Takshashila (modernTaxila), now these cities in Pakistan.   Texila was the center of Gandhara art. The Kingdom of Gandhara lasted from the early 1st millennium BC to the 11th century AD. It attained its height from the 1st century to the 5th century under the Buddhist Kushan Kings. Ruins of Gandhara Civilization The people living here were the followers of Buddhism. they worship the Statues of their religious persons. There are also a large number of grand statues, Buddha Stupas and ruins of Gandhara Civilization in Swat Valley, Takht bahi Mardan (Pakistan). A stupa named Nimogram stupa was prepared Swat Valley.
